GEZE UK Drives Training Standards

A new interactive training seminar is now available, offering architects invaluable advice and guidance, which contributes to their continuous professional development.

The revitalised seminar Automatic Doors - Safety Requirements and BS7036, assists with the Code of Practice for Safety at Powered Doors for Pedestrian Use, and is part of GEZE UK's continued commitment to RIBA's CPD initiative.

The latest seminar aims to arm architects and specifiers with a working knowledge of the key considerations necessary to design and specify the appropriate safety level for automatic pedestrian doors and eliminate potential safety problems at design stage, in accordance with the BS7036 safety standard - making specification easier.

‘Working with BS7036' complements GEZE UK's range of RIBA approved CPD seminars which include ‘Removing Barriers to Access' and ‘RWA Smoke and Venting Systems' as well as a new programme that will soon be introduced, 'Glass Door Assemblies - Selection and Specification'.

GEZE UK's operations director Paul Ryan commented: "We're committed to working closely with RIBA and helping to further raise industry standards. The latest seminar is the most relevant and dynamic to date and aims to explain the BS7036 safety standard during a 40-minute presentation in clear and easy to understand terms. The response to previous GEZE UK seminars has been phenomenal and I'm sure this one will be no exception."
