GEZE closers add up to success in education market

An upsurge in sales to the education sector is being reported by GEZE UK, the UK’s leading manufacturer of door and window control systems. The company has noted a significant increase in the number of GEZE closers being sold to architectural ironmongers for use in educational projects.

Proving particularly popular are two of GEZE’s surface mounted door closers which have been designed specifically to meet the requirements of this sector.

The robust TS 3000 EC surface mounted closer makes access easier for even the smallest student, with its low opening force that requires less energy to open the door – ideal for the variety of users and fast-paced environment of school and colleges.

Bridging the gap between the stringent fire door regulations of Approved Document B and the low opening force requirements of Approved Document M of the Building Regulations, this closer, and its sister model the elegant TS 3000 B, successfully combine all of the functionality you would expect of GEZE door closers with pleasing aesthetic appearance.

The TS 3000 B is also a surface mounted closer and the slimmest model on the market. The less obtrusive design of both models and the strength provided by the positioning of the fixings make these closers less susceptible to school vandalism.
